Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) position at an academic medical center, requiring BLS and PALS certifications with night or rotating shift availability.
Details
- PICU setting within an academic medical center
- Night or rotating shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts)
- Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Day shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 weekends required per six-week schedule
- Every other holiday required
- May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
- EMR: Epic experience required
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license; pending VA license will be accepted
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- Pediatric ICU (PICU) nursing experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
Additional Information
- 13-week contract
- No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
- Time off is not approved during the first 2 weeks of the contract
- Up to 40 hours of RTO available per contract
