Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position at an acute care hospital in Florida, requiring ACLS, BCLS, and RCIS certifications with on-call availability.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a 210-bed acute care hospital
• Performs Interventional Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Radiology procedures
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
• On-call required: approximately 15 days of call per month plus every third weekend
• No weekend requirement beyond on-call rotation
• No floating required
• Block scheduling may be accommodated depending on unit need
• Charting system: Meditech version 6.08
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP experience required
• Proficiency in angiography, patient preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring

Additional Information

• The CVIS RN performs advanced technical skills within the scope of an RN license, supporting a wide range of Interventional Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Radiology procedures
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, procedural documentation, and monitoring in accordance with Cardiovascular Services department policies
• Candidates must reside at least 30 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within that radius are accepted
• RTO is limited to no more than 10 days per contract and requires an extension of 2 additional weeks to the assignment; no RTO is permitted during the first or last week of the assignment
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
