Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position requiring BLS and PALS certifications, working night shifts at an academic medical center.
Details
- 13-week contract in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at an academic medical center
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00), nights or rotating
- Every other holiday required
- 3 weekends per six-week schedule required
- Floating may be required to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
- EMR: Epic experience required
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license required; VA license pending will be accepted
- Current certifications: BLS and PALS
- Pediatric ICU nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
- Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; no time off approved during the first 2 weeks of the contract
- No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
