Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift adult care position with the ability to float to peds/NICU settings.
Details
- Primary care setting is an adult inpatient unit at an academic medical center
- Possibility to float to pediatric and NICU departments as needed
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
- 12-week contract
- Every other weekend required
- On-call shifts are not pre-scheduled
- Holiday coverage required as shifts fall on the schedule
- Floating required to support all departments with RRT needs
Requirements
- Current RRT credential required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- NRP certification preferred
- Pediatric and/or NICU experience preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services primarily to adult patients, with potential care delivery in pediatric and NICU settings
- Candidates with peds/NICU experience are strongly preferred given the float requirements
- Time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
