Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Long Term Care (Extended Care) position in Miles City, MT, requiring a MT or compact RN license and at least one year of LTC experience.
Details
- Long Term Care (Extended Care) unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care RN experience required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date
- ASN or higher from an accredited School of Nursing required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Physical demands include lifting objects over 100 lbs and frequent lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include holistic resident assessments, individualized care planning, medication and IV administration, and discharge coordination
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, residents, and families to coordinate medical and nursing plans of care
- Supervises, coaches, and evaluates CNA staff and delegates tasks based on resident needs and staff competency
- Maintains working knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare skilled criteria, and MDS documentation requirements
- Former permanent staff of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
