Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics (IMC) position in Golden, CO, requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and active AHA certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Orthopedics unit (not a Step-Down unit)
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts (0700–1930), 3 days per week
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Orthopedics RN experience required
• Required certifications (all must be AHA and active at time of start): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• TNCC preferred
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for orthopedic patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Executes delegated medical functions and documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
