Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a 25-bed unit, requiring a KY or compact RN license and at least 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience.
Details
- 25-bed Med/Surg Tele inpatient unit
- Patient population includes Inpatient, Observation, and Swing Bed patients
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call or floating to other units required
- CPSI EMR experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active KY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required (3 years preferred)
- Experience with Inpatient, Observation, and Swing Bed patient populations
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
