Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a minimum of 1 year of acute care ICU experience, with CRRT equipment experience preferred.

Details

• 26-bed Medical ICU within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• CRRT equipment is used on the unit
• EMR system is Meditech/CPN
• Day shift staffing includes a Charge RN and PCTs
• Common procedures include moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management

Requirements

• Active KS or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU RN experience in a hospital setting
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional references required (quantity varies by state: one reference for most states; two references for Florida and Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Prior Meditech experience is preferred
• Experience traveling to large trauma facilities is preferred
• Sono IV and CRRT experience are preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
