Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Medical ICU position on night shift, requiring at least 1 year of acute care ICU experience and BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications.

Details

• Work in a 26-bed Medical ICU unit within a hospital setting
• Unit staffed with 65 team members including charge RNs, RNs, and PCTs
• Patient ratio of approximately 2:1, though not guaranteed
• Uses CRRT equipment for continuous renal replacement therapy
• EMR system used is Meditech / CPN
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Experience with Sono IV and CRRT preferred
• Experience working in large trauma facilities preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform moderate sedation procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management
• Work as part of a collaborative care team with a strong emphasis on teamwork, coachability, and adaptability
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
