Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and prior travel nursing experience, working night shifts on a 13-week contract.
Details
- Emergency Department setting
- Night shift hours: 18:00–06:30
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation required
- May care for boarded patients within the ED
- Epic EMR utilized
- Floating may be required within skill set, both onsite and to sites within 40 miles
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
- TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- MOAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification is optional but recommended; online resources are available for obtaining it
- Local candidates are eligible to apply, though travel pay rates may differ based on proximity to the facility
- Nursys license verification and primary source license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
