Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of interventional cath lab experience and prior travel assignment experience for a fast-paced cardiac catheterization unit.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Community hospital experience required
- 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Cerner charting system required
- 1 to 2 weeknight call shifts (Monday-Friday) plus one weekend call shift (3-24 hours) per month
- Fast-paced, high-efficiency clinical environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience required within the last 7 years
- Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- CCI RCIS or ARRT R certification required, with ARRT VI preferred
- License required if applicable
- Skilled in interventional cath procedures, cardiac stent placement, scrubbing, right and left heart catheterization, rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
- Experience with acute monitoring, room circulator duties, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR preferred
- Must be a strong team player able to function in a high-paced environment
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include equipment set up, prepping access sites, scrubbing to maintain sterile field, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias
- Weekly orientation provided
- Scrubs provided
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
- Accepts local candidates within a 60-mile radius at a lower rate
