Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of Level III or Level IV NICU experience.

Details

  • Acute care NICU setting serving a neonatal patient population
  • Level III or Level IV NICU environment
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
  • Every other weekend required
  • Voluntary call required
  • Floating as needed

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and NRP
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU required
  • Charge and high-risk delivery experience strongly preferred
  • 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
  • Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
  • Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
