Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel contract in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Requirements

  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • BSN required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association with at least 3 months remaining before expiration
  • Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience required

Additional Information

  • Delivers patient and family-centered care incorporating the nursing process, including developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based practice
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams in shared decision-making, care planning, and transitions of care
  • Participates in quality improvement activities such as Root Cause Analyses, Safety Huddles, and Interdisciplinary Meetings
  • Documents and navigates within the EMR to support patient care and clinical decision-making
  • Opportunities to contribute to shared governance, professional development, and precepting of students and peers
