Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Care/SNF position in South Dakota, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active SD or Compact RN license.

Details

• Long-term care / skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting
• Post-acute care environment
• 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Occasional day shifts required every other weekend
• 13-week contract
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Requirements

• Active SD or Compact RN license, must be in hand at time of consideration (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification required (copy of active certification required; pending certifications not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required, no exceptions
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and are eligible at an adjusted rate
• A completed RN skills checklist is required as part of the consideration process
• Charting is performed using a computerized system (specific EMR not listed)
