Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma Academic Medical Center, requiring at least 1 year of IR experience and ARRT (R) certification.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a large, Level I Trauma Academic Medical Center with 1,500+ beds
• Bi-campus coverage required across two hospital campuses
• Short-term acute care hospital setting
• 4x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• Call shifts are available to pick up on a voluntary basis
• Charting performed in Epic
• Parking available on-site for a monthly fee

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• Trauma Center experience at a large facility required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• License required if applicable — pending license accepted, but must be active prior to start date
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; any RTO exceeding 7 days requires facility approval
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions considered
• OR scrubs in Misty Green are provided by the facility
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
