Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP position requiring both Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby experience, with comfort working alongside an incarcerated patient population.
Details
- LDRP setting within a hospital environment, with float responsibilities between Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby units
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Patients include the incarcerated/prison population in addition to standard L&D and postpartum patients
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid Compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), NIH Stroke Scale, AWHONN, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Both L&D and Mother-Baby experience required
- Comfort working with an incarcerated patient population required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation consists of two 8-hour shifts followed by two 12-hour department-specific orientation shifts
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
