Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of invasive cardiology experience, ARRT(R) or RCIS certification, and Epic proficiency for a 13-week cardiac cath lab contract.

Details

  • 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • On-call required every 4th day and one weekend per month
  • Weekend availability required
  • Holiday coverage required for 2 major and 1 minor holidays

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Invasive Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, Neuro Intervention, Pacemakers, and EKG
  • ARRT(R) or RCIS, BLS, and LSRT required (temporary LSRT accepted; typically issued within 3–5 days upon fee payment and proof of ARRT)
  • Louisiana state license required if applicable
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Proficiency with Philips single plane/bi-plane, Inari, Pembra, Pounce, Impella, IABP, US CSI Shockwave, Rotoblade, IVUS (Boston Scientific and Philips), Carto Abbott, and X-Per
  • Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
  • Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

  • Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) and Electrophysiology (EP)
  • Hospital scrubs provided
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
  • Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
  • RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
