Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a NICU position requiring NRP certification and experience with infant-driven feeding protocols, working night shifts at an academic medical center.

Details

  • NICU setting within a large academic medical center
  • Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (4x12-hour shifts)
  • 36- or 48-hour workweeks available
  • 3 weekends required per 6-week scheduling period
  • Every other holiday required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active VA RN license or Compact RN license required (pending VA license will be accepted)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • NRP certification must be in-hand at time of consideration
  • Dr. Brown's Infant-Driven Feeding certification required (may be pending at time of consideration; candidate is responsible for the $185 certification cost)
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
  • Time off is not available during the first two weeks of the assignment or over Labor Day weekend
  • Up to 40 hours of RTO may be approved for the duration of the 13-week contract
  • Floating may be required based on clinical experience
