Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care/SNF night shift position requiring an active MN RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with 43 beds across a 2-story facility
• Patient population consists primarily of dementia patients
• Patient ratios vary by floor/unit
• Night shift hours: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (12-hour shifts, with some 8-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• EMR: MatrixCare with paper flowsheet
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• 10-week contract

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration — pending licenses will not be accepted
• Current BLS certification required — pending certifications not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; no exceptions
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years — must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to a primarily dementia-based long-term care population
• No IV care required for this position
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and are eligible at a different rate
