Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week travel contract, requiring AHA BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications with a minimum of 1 year of NICU experience.
Details
- 13-week contract with a day shift schedule of 06:45–19:15
- Neonatal ICU setting within a new Women's Tower, spanning two floors with 84 total private-room beds (42 per floor)
- Average census ranges from the mid-40s to mid-50s patients
- Support team includes Charge Nurses, Resource Nurses, PCTs, and Milk Techs
- No floating outside of the NICU
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA PALS certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification through AHA or American Academy of Pediatrics required
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
