Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring 18 months of ICU experience and an active GA or compact RN license for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in the 4W ICU unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included per shift
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Meditech charting system
• Required to float to other departments across facilities, including a sister hospital, based on department needs

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• IV insertion and PICC line experience required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required to start
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former employees of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling near a holiday, or 3 days when falling near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
