Description

American Traveler is hiring a PET-CT Technologist with dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and CT for a 13-week travel assignment in Eastern Montana.

Details

• Outpatient imaging setting within a health center launching a new PET-CT department
• 4x9 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Modalities include PET/CT imaging within a Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging setting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Active state license required if applicable
• BLS, ARRT(N), ARRT(CT), and NMTCB certifications required
• Dual proficiency in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography imaging

Additional Information

• Perform PET/CT imaging, interpret physician orders, and select appropriate imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Help establish protocols and workflows as part of a newly launched PET-CT department
• Responsible for training new technologists and patient coordinators
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and related peripherals
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
