Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:3
• Weekday and some weekend shifts required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• IV start and telemetry (tele) skills required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; no coworker references accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

• Local candidates are accepted
• Former facility employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with your application and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after contract signing — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
