Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of experience, AHA certifications, and a WI or compact RN license, with a weekend nights-only schedule.
Details
- Acute care hospital Emergency Department (ED) setting
- Weekend nights-only schedule: Friday through Sunday, 12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
- Currently using Cerner EMR, with a transition to Epic underway
- 36 hours per week, 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required by start date
- Minimum 2 years of ED/ER nursing experience required
- Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- BSN is not required for this position
- 2 professional references required for consideration: 1 from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years of relevant experience
Additional Information
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months, and hospital approval is required prior to placement
- Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a reduced travel pay rate
