Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring at least 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Home health setting
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• On-call required, approximately 7–10 shifts per month
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius is possible, though floating between campuses is rare

Requirements

• Active TN RN license or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of recent home health or relevant RN experience required; 3+ years preferred
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Epic EMR experience required
• ADN is accepted for this position; BSN is not required
• A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after an offer is made will not be honored
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Former travelers who completed a full-year assignment must be away for at least 1 full year before returning
• If the assignment includes end-of-year holidays, candidates must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall within the assignment period, or at least 1 if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment
• Vaccination status must be provided
