Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
13-week contract

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required
Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification required — must be willing to obtain prior to start
One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or charge RN in the same specialty required for consideration
Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
Travelers may not work at any Cleveland Clinic location for more than 18 consecutive months, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location

Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
