Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring strong GI/Endoscopy skills, with a 4x10 day shift schedule and shared on-call rotation.

Details

• 4x10-hour shifts, day shift, with a shared on-call rotation
• Floating required throughout the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, Pre-operative Clinic, and inpatient areas for conscious sedation procedures
• Patient population includes surgical, endoscopy, and post-anesthesia recovery patients
• Scope of care spans perioperative, endoscopy, PACU, and conscious sedation for special procedures

Requirements

• Active WA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong GI/Endoscopy skills required
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative education and nursing care across outpatient services
• Responsibilities include recognizing and responding to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Administer conscious sedation for special procedures as needed
• Variable schedule within the 4x10 day shift framework
