Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Main OR position requiring Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho experience, with call shift responsibilities on a 13-week contract.
Details
- Main OR unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- 13-week contract
- Call requirements include 2–3 twelve-hour call shifts per six-week schedule on Saturdays and Sundays (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- One additional on-call shift per week ('asterisk' call) with the expectation of being available to stay up to 2 hours past the end of your scheduled shift to cover cases that run late
- Holiday call coverage required when holidays fall on a weekday
Requirements
- Active Idaho (ID) or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- Experience in Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho OR cases required
Additional Information
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties including trauma, neuro, and orthopedic cases
- Extended shift coverage of up to 2 hours past scheduled end time may be required for late-running cases; these hours are compensated as on-call time
