Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a general sonography position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARDMS certification, including an on-call rotation.
Details
- General Ultrasound department setting
- 5x8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call rotation includes one night per week and every third weekend
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of general ultrasound experience
- Current BLS and ARDMS certification
- Active state license required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- A valid driver's license and a utility bill with a matching address dated within the last 3 months are required for consideration
- 2 supervisory references required for consideration
- Copies of certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per assignment; no holiday time off may be requested
- Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from this facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Floating to other facilities within a 75-mile radius may be required
