Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with at least 18 months of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a large acute care hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Details

• Located in a 900-bed acute care hospital facility
• Radiology department with OR imaging responsibilities
• PM shift schedule, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday including every other weekend
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Uses GE imaging equipment and Epic EMR
• No on-call required

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography school
• Active NJ State RT License required if applicable
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Must be comfortable performing imaging in the OR
• Must be able to work independently in a large, fast-paced facility
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain equipment readiness, assess patient safety, and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures, including revisions as needed
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital facility
• Travelers are eligible for assignments up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment at this facility
