Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Ortho/Neuro Unit position at a hospital and trauma center in Janesville, WI, requiring a WI or compact RN license, NIHSS certification, and availability for day shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage.

- Ortho/Neuro Unit in a hospital and trauma center setting
- Orthopedic and neurological patient population
- Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required
- Floating to other units may be required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS/CPR and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Prior Med/Surg, orthopedic, or neurology nursing experience required
- Education verification required for consideration
Additional Information
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient plans of care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and state practice standards
- Participate in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patients' longitudinal plans of care across units
