Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Illinois, requiring active IL licensure and a minimum of 1 year of ED experience.
Details
- Hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekend requirement
- 4-week contract
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, or TNS
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring
- Communicate changes in patient status, diagnostic results, and symptomatology with ED physicians
- Consult with specialists and ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient care and flow
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
- Address psychosocial, physical, and communication needs of patients and families
