Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week LTC/SNF travel assignment in Sioux Falls, SD, requiring a BSN and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with a current census of approximately 42 beds
• Elderly patient population with multiple diagnoses
• Patient ratios vary; days shift is approximately 1:21, up to a maximum of 1:42
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses PointClickCare (PCC) EMR

Requirements

• Active SD RN license or compact RN license (must be active and in hand at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted)
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required (copies of active certifications required; pending certifications not accepted)
• PointClickCare (PCC) experience strongly preferred given immediate use on unit
• Valid driver's license required
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of 1 day of facility orientation followed by up to 3 days on the floor with staff
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and are eligible at a different rate
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
