Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a Washington state license in hand for a night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center, with first-time travelers encouraged to apply.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
  • RRT unit with no floating between units required
  • Variable patient ratios
  • Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
  • Rotating weekends required
  • Block schedules required
  • Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

  • Current RRT credential required
  • Washington state RRT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Current certifications: ACLS and PALS required; NRP preferred
  • Minimum 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are eligible to apply for this position
  • Former permanent staff at this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
  • Minimal RTO is expected for this position
  • Scrubs of any color are accepted
  • No parking fee at this facility
