Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a Washington state license in hand for a night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center, with first-time travelers encouraged to apply.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- RRT unit with no floating between units required
- Variable patient ratios
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Rotating weekends required
- Block schedules required
- Epic EMR used; experience required
Requirements
- Current RRT credential required
- Washington state RRT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS and PALS required; NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are eligible to apply for this position
- Former permanent staff at this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position
- Scrubs of any color are accepted
- No parking fee at this facility
