Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at an acute care hospital, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with night shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a 255-bed acute care hospital
• Diverse adult patient population including cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, and pulmonary cases
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other Saturday required; Sundays off
• Charting performed in Meditech
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Responsibilities include coordination of direct patient care and patient education
• Scrub color requirement: black or Caribbean blue
