Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Critical Access Hospital in Chewelah, WA, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Critical Access Hospital with 23 total staff beds
- Emergency Department (ER) unit
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating between units and between all facilities within Washington state is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- EMR: Epic (required)
- Any color scrubs permitted
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS; NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active professional license at time of consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location(s) and dates of that employment
- Travelers who refuse float assignments may be subject to termination of assignment
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
