Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, with Epic EMR experience strongly preferred for night shift work.

Details

• Position is based in a PACU unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (21:00–07:00)
• No on-call requirements
• No floating to other floors required

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience required
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may designate travelers to an Emergency Team, requiring them to remain on-site or serve as part of a relief team during emergency events
• Candidates must be comfortable with potential emergency event assignments as a condition of working with this health system
• First-time travelers may be considered only if they have extensive PACU experience and are proficient with Epic
• RTO requests must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
• Excessive RTO is not permitted for this assignment
• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
