Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Telemetry unit position in Worcester, MA, requiring prior Epic experience and a MA RN license.

Details

Hospital telemetry unit serving Neuro Surgery, Neuro/Tele, ENT Surgery, and Orthopedic overflow patient populations
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Every other weekend required
13-week contract
Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

Active MA RN license required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Prior Epic EMR experience required
Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for this position

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Orientation includes two pass/fail exams — a medication exam and a telemetry exam — each with only one attempt allowed; failure results in immediate contract cancellation
A pass/fail EKG test is also required
Study materials will be provided prior to and during orientation
Minimal RTO is expected, with only 2–3 days considered
Candidates must have a clear nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions
