Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week day shift assignment at a short-term acute care hospital in North Carolina.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Floating between both hospital campuses is required
• Charts in Epic EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current CRT or RRT credential required
• Active state or compact license required at time of consideration — pending licensure not accepted
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a maximum of 4 days per assignment
• Only one holiday can be approved per contract
• Travelers may only extend once on day shift before being required to be away for a minimum of 6 months prior to returning
• Former employees or travelers must have been away for at least 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
• Pre-start orientation modules are required (approximately 4–10 hours)
• Solid black or black-and-white scrubs required
