Description
American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience for a 13-week travel contract serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas.
Details
- Home health setting serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas
- 1:1 patient ratio with up to 6 patient visits per day; standard productivity expectation of 30 points per day
- Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00–16:30); 4x10 and 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Charting is performed in Epic (remote client on laptop) and Rover (mobile app)
- Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state
- Daily driving may occasionally extend to a maximum radius of roughly 60 miles (60–90 minutes total drive time); the scheduling system groups clients to minimize windshield time
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of skilled home health PT experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active PT license required; pending license accepted
- Must have reliable personal transportation
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Primary COVID-19 vaccination series plus one booster required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Open to first-time travelers
- PTA candidates will be considered if necessary
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates within a 50–75 mile radius are considered local and may be accepted at the same bill rate
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be placed within 50 miles of their former facility
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- RTO is minimal; a few days may be approved but significant RTO requests are discouraged
- Business casual attire required; scrubs are allowed but no specific color required, and jeans are not permitted
- Parking is free
