Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications and at least 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Work in a Level 1 Trauma Adult Emergency Room setting
- 13-week contract assignment
- Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30
- Every other weekend requirement
Requirements
- Active RN license (Indiana or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start required
- Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Implement and monitor patient care plans while documenting and communicating patient condition
- Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
- Carry out physician and nursing orders
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
- PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certifications are preferred but not required for submission
