Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro unit night shift position requiring NIH Stroke Scale certification and a willingness to float to a second campus.

Details

Work in the 6 North Neurology unit of an inpatient hospital setting
Neurological patient population
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Every other weekend required
Floating to the West Campus required
26-week contract

Requirements

Active IA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

Every other holiday coverage required
Local candidates are accepted for this position; a local pay rate is available for Iowa-based candidates

Whether it’s my recruiter, Amanda, or Iranna from payroll, I always get a quick response when I have a question. It’s nice working with a team that actually follows up and keeps you in the loop. Amanda has been awesome throughout my assignment. She checks in regularly with a call or text just to see how things are going and make sure I don’t need anything. That level of support has really stood out to me. I’m rly happy I chose American Traveler for my first assignment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
