Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Neuro RN for a night shift position requiring a compact or Iowa RN license and prior neuro nursing experience.
Details
- Work in the 6 North Neurology unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Floating to the West Campus required
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or Iowa state license required)
- Current BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- ACLS and TNCC certifications may be required depending on unit needs
- Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to neurology patients on a Med/Surg unit
- Must reside within 60 miles of the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Local candidates may be considered depending on state-specific rules
- Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
- First-time travelers may be considered
