Description

American Traveler is hiring a BSN-prepared OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring robotics experience and a CA RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Surgical specialties include General, Orthopedics/Ortho Joint, Neuro, Vascular, Ophthalmology, and ENT
• Robotic surgery cases are a regular part of the caseload
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts, mid-shift hours of 10:00–22:30
• Up to 2–4 on-call shifts and 1 weekend shift per 4-week scheduling period
• Floating required to Miller Children's and Cardiovascular units
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• BSN is a hard requirement — candidates without a BSN will not be considered
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience in a hospital setting (surgery center experience does not qualify)
• Robotic surgery experience required
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Ophthalmology, and ENT required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at the local rate
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and are subject to manager approval
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
