Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a mixed-acuity facility, requiring telemetry experience and a valid NH or Compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 39-bed mixed-acuity facility specializing in medical, surgical, and stepdown levels of care
- Patient population is primarily elderly adults, but may include patients as young as 18
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1 or 5:1 depending on patient acuity
- Experience with Amiodarone and Cardizem drips is required for this unit
- Telemetry monitoring is required on this unit
- 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required; proof of state residency required for Compact license holders
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent, equivalent Med/Surg RN experience required
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
- Telemetry experience required
- Experience with Amiodarone and Cardizem drips required
- Two professional references from managers required for consideration
