Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with cardiac cath lab scrub experience and RCIS or RT credentials for a 13-week travel assignment in Newton, NJ.

Details

• Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within an acute care hospital
• Procedures include cardiac cath, PCI (STEMI), peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
• STEMI on-call required, averaging 13–15 shifts per month including 2 weekends (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
• 4x9.5 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Charting in Epic EMR

Requirements

• RCIS certification preferred; RT (Licensed Radiologic Technologist) with cardiac cath lab scrub experience accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS required
• IABP experience required
• Cardiac cath lab experience required
• Active NJ license required if applicable
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2 references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include preparing patients and the lab for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI), peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
• Monitors, documents, and calculates hemodynamic data throughout procedures
• Provides pre-, intra-, and post-procedural assistance to the physician, including access site assessment and management
• May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
