Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, with night shift availability and EKG testing prior to start.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:6, or 1:12 under a team nursing model
• Every other weekend (or 2 weekends per month) required
• Floating is required for this position
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — Tennessee (TN) or Compact license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and NIHSS (NIHSS may be obtained after offer); ACLS preferred
• Color blind testing required prior to start
• Must pass an EKG competency test prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care experience required

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and eligible at a reduced rate
• RTO will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks, including: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
• Travelers may discuss holiday RTO directly with the manager after arriving onsite
