Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Conroe, TX, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Day shift position with 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• 13-week contract
• Work setting is a hospital-based Emergency Department (ER)

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ED/ER nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC accepted), ACLS, TNCC, CPI (or accepted equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and NIH Stroke Scale — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
