Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a mixed PCU/Med-Surg/Telemetry unit requiring an active MI RN license, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- Mixed unit setting covering PCU, Med-Surg/Telemetry, and Med-Surg patients
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
- Every other weekend is required
- Telemetry monitoring required on this unit
- Medication management via Pyxis
- Epic EMR required
Requirements
- Active Michigan (MI) RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Navy scrubs required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel position
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
