Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a weekend-only night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of Level III or IV NICU experience and recent travel experience.
Details
- Position is located in a Level III or IV NICU within a hospital setting
- Weekend-only schedule: every Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday night shift
- Night shift hours: 7p–7a (3x12)
- 13-week contract with potential for extension
- Floating required to other departments within the same facility, to a sister NICU, and to sister campuses within a 12-mile radius
- Holiday coverage is required
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration — pending licensure is not accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS, PALS (American Heart Association); NRP preferred — all must be active and in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required
- Level III or IV NICU experience required; Level III experience must be from a larger facility — experience from smaller Level III NICUs will not be considered
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months, required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- This is a strict weekend-only position — candidates must be fully committed to a weekend-exclusive schedule
- Minimal time off requests expected for the duration of the contract
- This facility is a nicotine-free campus and tests for nicotine
