Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / OB Emergency Department position in Austin, TX, requiring active TX or compact licensure and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.
Details
- Located in an OB Emergency Department (OB ED) within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification, or NCCEFM, required
- NRP Advanced 9th Edition (American Academy of Pediatrics) required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- At least one professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- No previous permanent or travel employment with HCA Healthcare (or its affiliates) that would conflict with eligibility
